A Tavola Gastronomia Siciliana is the third restaurant from award winning chef Alessio Muccio.
Our pasta, Gelato & pastries/cakes are all freshly made onsite using traditional Sicilian recipes. We source ingredients from Sicily including the famous Sasizza (Fennel Sausage), Salumi/Cheeses & Extra Virgin Olive Oil along with a range of fantastic local suppliers ensuring our food is always fresh & authentic.
Our menu includes V, VG & GF dishes (we can cater for any other dietary requirements), the specials reflect seasonal produce both from Sicily & the UK, we have a children’s menu for little appetites & an extensive drinks menu including Sicilian Lagers, Craft Beers & Wine, Cocktails, Coffees & Sicilian soft drinks. There is something for everyone at A Tavola!
Our restaurant is small & cosy and adorned with Sicilian artefacts, it’s a little slice of Sicily here in the High Peak. We have two heated outside seating areas for when the British weather allows, both are dog friendly.

Claire B5 StarWow! The finest dining experience I've ever experienced (and I eat out regularly). The staff were amazing, very attentive and couldn't do enough for me and my son. I cannot fathom the negative reviews because this was the best service I've come across. The food was absolutely beautiful. We also had deserts and coffee. I was surprised how reasonable the bill was (I would have happily paid more).The staff also tried hard to get me a taxi back and kindly allowed us to wait. I 100% wholeheartedly recommend eating here. I'm definitely coming back again soon.Wednesday 8th June 2022

Super fresh ingredients too - on top of that every single staff member is so welcoming and personal and the atmosphere is really fun with the Italian music in the background. Amy1 StarAwful experience. Very poor customer service, the woman was falsely nice until we weren’t happy about something then she just turned. The young girl was the only polite one there and when we asked her for the bill as we had a train to catch she said she’s not allowed to give bills or take payment for meals which is shocking. No trust in staff. She said the chef and woman owner won’t/don’t take criticism from anyone and it showed. To top it off the chef then followed us out after we left and was very hostile. I’ve honestly never known anything like it. Will not be returning, much better food and service elsewhere. Overpriced, small portions with rude staff apart from the young waitress. Nicola5 StarStunning restaurant- the food, atmosphere and staff were all 10/10. My husband and I were in the area last week for our mini moon and actually visited twice during our break as we loved it so much! One of our favourite ever eateries with a menu so vast, that we actually struggled what to order both times. There are new specials daily; with fresh bread, pastries and hand-made pasta created on site by the Sicilian chef. What a place! 👌Wednesday 30th March 2022
