HOUSE PURCHASE EXPERIENCE 0/5 Got put onto this firm as my previous solicitors weren't on my mortgages panel. Rhianne and Lily were my case handlers. This was a By to Let investment with no chain with an eager buyer and seller. What ensued over the next 20 weeks was nothing short of a shambles. Everything began as you'd expect, and I anticipated probably a 12 week turn around, but I can understand long these things can take. However 16 weeks in with constant calling and a chasing from myself we weren't getting any closer to completion. The low point of this experience was after I rang up somewhere at the beginning of October, I asked when the last time they had heard from the vendors solicitors was. Lily replied she hadnt heard from them for the full month of September. I honestly have never dealt with a firm with such lack luster and low energy staff as AFG Law. Ringing though to my case handlers to try and get any answers turned into such a joke that my frustration turned to an entertaining affair. Truly terrible experience, will now actively tell people to avoid this firm. All the best, Louis
