I've needed to stay in Stockport alot for business stays over the last 6 months. I have tried a few other hotels around here but this one is by far the best. Okay, so it's not so modern looking like some of the newer chain hotels, but it's really welcoming and rooms are so clean. Nice and homely. The staff are very polite and helpful. The food, even the 'simple' bar menu is amazing. Such good prices too. Since staying here I would never chose anywhere else in Stockport .

Had such a lovely stay. Staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough to help. Lovely, friendly atmosphere and even though there was a wedding going on in the evenong it was still very quiet in the room. Bar food was excellent, compliments to the chef(s). Breakfast was excellent too. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would definitely come again.

A lovely venue with loads of character and a number of different function rooms. There is a good sized separated bar and seating area, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas. Large parking forecourt too!

The service was great especially because I did a very late check-in and I found someone at the reception desk who quickly checked me in. The room was nice and clean but the bed was not very comfortable unfortunately. Location is okay, you can hear passing traffic if you are on one the rooms facing the main road. Overall it was a decent stay
