Visited my Uncle yesterday after 2 years of being unable to visit due to COVID travel and access restrictions and my residing 3 hours drive away. On the day of the visit I met with the owner and a number of his staff. My experience was very positive in terms of getting to see my Uncle and the owner and all the staff I spoke to were clearly very professional and caring. I could see as I passed that the atmosphere in the residents lounge with a good number of residents in there appeared to be very calm and friendly. I was reassured that my Uncle was in a "good place".

Shame I have to give a star.. My uncle has been here for nearly a year, in this time he has had nearly £2000 stole out if his bedroom the safe he gets in his bedroom to lock his values has purposely been broken into. The manager was very unprofessional when we brought up these concerns and didn't want to help and didn't care.. Due to my uncle not having a trusting relationship with anyone in this home he was scared to phone the police and report the matter and wouldn't let us do it either. Recently another service user has had £1000 stole out if their room. Which the poilce was contacted by the service user, this has given my uncle the courage to tell the poilce about what has happened to him. (Reported) It is a disgusting place with poor management, poor communication and obviously untrustworthy staff. I wouldn't recommend your loved ones going here.
