Paid upfront . Supposedly 'fixed' our roof, we had someone else come to view the work he had done who said he had used very poor quality material that was fitted incorrectly. This is not the way you treat a senior citizen.

I requested that Aplus Roofing completed some work on a skylight roof at my property. The workmanship was truly awful. The timbers were not only exposed but were not treated meaning that rotting was inevitable. The slate fitted was broken and the nails holding them were exposed meaning water was leaking in. The flashing to the right hadn't even been replaced, instead new tiles were fitted underneath which from the pictures you can see was an extremely poorly executed. The flashing to the left is not watertight to the join next door and was simply left open. The mortar was loose and sloppily applied. When I asked for Aplus roofing to come back out to rectify they didn’t turn up and haven’t taken any calls or replied to messages since. It was agreed to re-slate and re-flash it AND make it look tidy. It’s neither, secure, watertight or tidy. There’s simply no point in having a roof that isn’t watertight, and as the surveyor said ‘it’s a waste of materials. It has cost twice as much to have the work undone and then redone. Avoid this company at all costs. I am in the process of reporting to trading standards.
