John Fitzroy3 StarNice stables and some of the instructors are good. Just found they had limited times during the week for my daughters ability. Some of the horses and instructors that my daughter liked left and times became unsuitable for us.Monday 15th May 2017
Judy Freeman5 StarA wonderful livery yard, clean tidy & superb riding facilities.
Proprietor Mrs. M Hill very helpful, polite & knowledgeable. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.Thursday 8th July 2021
Ryan Rushworth5 StarI have been having horse riding lessons here for around 12 months and I have found the stables to have a very relaxed friendly atmosphere. The staff are well educated in the field of horse riding and are willing to help with any questions asked. I recommend appletree stables if you are thinking of horse riding as they offer lessons from children with disabilities, beginner riders or advanced riders. ;0)Sunday 23rd August 2015
P Harrison1 StarJust taken my 10yr old son with Downs for a group lesson, and it was absolutely terrible. The instructor didn't speak to me about my son, his disability or his ability to ride. There were two other riders who were obviously regular's and it felt like the instructor didn't want to bother with my son and did not instruct him during the whole lesson, the young volunteer who lead him round got him to do a couple of trots and that was it.
At the end of the lesson neither myself or son were spoken to by the instructor. I found the whole experience very upsetting, especially as this was a class for special needs.Sunday 3rd November 2013
