Aqua Nurture – the perfect place for parents-to-be, new parents and young families to swim, learn and grow together.
Parenthood is a journey, from those exciting early days of pregnancy to seeing your baby grow and discover the world. At Aqua Nurture you can enjoy a range of activities and services to help prepare you and your baby for that journey.
Our lovely warm and super-clean hydro pool and inviting coffee shop provide a welcoming venue for antenatal classes and postnatal groups and for the grown-ups to socialise and relax while babies and little ones play, feed or nap after a swim.
Aqua Nurture is also home to Puddle Ducks Greater Manchester who provide award-winning baby, toddler and children’s swimming classes, all in our purpose-built hydro pool.

In 2022 we welcomed Code Ninjas to our brand new first floor classroom facility – Code Ninjas provides fun and interactive coding tuition for children from 5 – 14 years old on Monday and Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings and operates holiday clubs during the school holidays.

Want to hire our facilities? Our hydro pool, coffee shop and ‘snug’ are available for hire to organisations and businesses who provide family focussed activities and services and to local community groups.

Our eventbrite page lists current private pool hire sessions available to book, which take place throughout the year when Puddle Ducks lessons aren’t running.

I keep being asked how my visit was by Google but I've only ever known this as a pub. It looks fantastic inside. I drank in there from 1986 upto 1995. To turn this into what in guessing is a young child's pool must have been such a gamble but it seems to have been a very clever one. I wonder if such imagination will go into other pubs that close. But please not another takeaway.

We came to watch our niece's little baby have her swimming lesson - and came away with a really positive impression. A cosy friendly pool, not too big, warm, and with a good view of the baby swimmers through the large window in the cafe. Such a nice way to introduce tiny tots to a happy and safe experience of water.
