Our home is set in beautiful landscaped gardens with a summerhouse, greenhouse and seating. Our large, homely lounge has a TV and DVD player, and along with our dining room, has a wonderful view of our gardens. Our extensive activities programme is based around individual needs, ensuring each resident still pursues their own particular interests and hobbies and, in many cases, discover new interests. For those who prefer a quieter atmosphere, we also have a library, where you can sit and read the newspapers and magazines.

I wrote a review two years ago regarding my mother in law’s care in Brookfield and my opinion of the staff and care they provide has not changed in fact my admiration for them has grown. All the staff are friendly, caring, attentive and approachable and always willing to discuss any queries with you, nothing seems too much trouble for them. The general manager is always ensuring things are as they should be so the high standards of the home are maintained. The deputy manager is very knowledgeable regarding each individual’s personality and requirements. The activities coordinator has a happy disposition and engages residents in a wide range of stimulating activities. The residents who are able are taken out to various venues, such as local events and garden centre. The meal menu choices are varied and enticing. To sum up, the atmosphere is friendly and homely where all members of staff enjoy “going the extra mile”.
