Kim K1 StarPRICE ADVERTISED IS NOT WHAT THEY CHARGE!!!
I popped in for the first time not long ago and ordered a couple of kebabs and chips and drink etc but the total came to an amount that was significantly higher than i was expecting. I questioned this with the guy behind the till and as I was going through the menu stating each item and the price he piped up at the mixed kebab that the price was £14 and not £9 that was on all of the menus and on the overhead board.
The chap continued to say that they can't sell it at £9 because they make a loss so that is why they charge £14. I explained that they're breaking the law by advertising it at a lower price and then charging more and he just repeated the same thing 'can't sell it for £9, we make a loss so it is £14'.
That this chap didn't mention any price increase to me when we were looking at what to order OR when we were placing the order to me is just terrible.
I ended up cancelling my whole order out of principle and instead I drove to longsight to pay £6 for a huge tasty kebab from Lazeeza.Friday 21st January 2022
Ben CS1 StarDO NOT ORDER from this takeaway. They refuse to deliver to those who are self isolating. By virtue of this, they are encouraging people to break the law in relation to self isolation.
Please spread this far and wide and let them know what you think. Kick them where it hurts. They accepted my order where I had made it absolutely clear that they would need to deliver to my door after accepting it.
Serious issue on Foodhub, this is the second takeaway to do this. Foodhub should remove takeaways that encourage law breaking.
Please like to show this takeaway how many orders they are losing by being greedy and not playing by the rules in a nationwide lockdown. Thanks.Friday 8th January 2021
