Beyond Quirks is the creation of two photographers coming together to make a space that celebrates your quirks and what makes you quantitatively you. An Alternative Photography Service made for you.
Our desire is simple to create a studio where you feel at ease, a safe environment for self expression and to explore the many sides of you.
Offering photoshoots for individuals, families, performers and models, a place where you can truly let your hair down, have fun and end up with images you will treasure for a lifetime.
Not only do we have this safe space for all, we are also available for special occasions, ready to capture beautiful scenes and moments of laughter on your wedding day, birthday celebration and many more wonderful days.

Sue Chadwick5 StarMy daughter is entering an alternative modelling contest in October but has no experience so I booked a photoshoot with Beyond Quirks to boost her confidence. The whole experience was brilliant - from easy booking, complete flexibility on which day / time, great communication beforehand as to what to bring and what to expect right through to the day itself. A friendly, relaxed atmosphere with lots of advice on how to pose and what to expect, plenty of brews on offer and a chance to see the raw results and get a couple of edited photos in advance of the final set. The packages they offer are all very competitively priced and the service and helpfulness is worth every penny! We will be back for more photos to add to her portfolio. I would recommend these guys to anyone wanting more than your boring standard portraits and all with first class service too.Sunday 23rd July 2023
Clare Rawsterne5 StarI had some pictures done here with my Grandma for her 95th birthday. The photographers are really accommodating and welcoming; they do their best to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and give lots of ideas for poses to see what comes out. They even let my Dad come in and have a few pictures taken with me and my Gran which was really nice. My Grandma had a really great time chatting with everyone, she was really in her element which was nice to see after the last few years of being much more isolated due to the pandemic. Johnny and Gemma the resident photographers were very kind and accommodating throughout, as someone who has never modelled before they helped me select the best poses and were very open to suggestions.
The studio is very well laid out. With changing facilities and waiting areas for anyone who wishes to be there whilst shooting. They had a verity of backdrops which certainly gave a special mood to the photos.
They were certainly well priced for the hours I were there
