As a local Business owner of Opal Consulting, I was invited to Birchwood Community High School to help with the Year 10 Mock Interviews last week. The whole exercise was performed very smoothly and efficiently, with the staff providing all the necessary information and I was delighted to find that the learners were very focused, although a little nervous. This demonstrates the care and attention that the school gives to activities both inside and outside of the curriculum. The monthly Business Breakfast Network Meetings hosted by the College Section at the school also offer the same level of professionalism and are a joy to attend.

Very good high school. Very good college as well. Excellent facilities for performing arts and others. Good choice for secondary and further education.

It was a horrible place, drugs, smoking, bullying and homophobia are the main problems amongst the teachers focusing on the people who were not well behaved, not the people who needed help.
