Many people who are seriously ill and nearing the end of their lives prefer to be cared for at home surrounded by their family and friends. Our Hospice at Home service works closely with District Nurses, GPs and Macmillan nurses to help make this possible. Words cannot express the wonderful care, compassion and support we, as a family received. I lost my mother and best friend but it was with love, dignity and respect. A very special time and one which all staff made the memories we have, those of my mother getting excellent pain relief and being at peace. A very special place, filled with love, laughter and compassion. We have created a virtual tour of our hospice so you can have a look around and get an idea about what to expect for you or a family member. We know that for some people the word 'hospice' can be frightening and uncertain so we hope this tour will take away some of that fear and uncertainty and show you that our hospice is a warm, friendly and inviting place – a home from home!
