Ordered a few days ago, everything arrived but a few things were different to how they had previously been (the gravy mainly) in size and taste. The chicken itself was incredibly salty and needed to be coated in sauce to be eaten, it seemed to be cooked well and tasted nice otherwise, however all 3 of us have come down with bad stomach pains and related problems (this is the only thing we've eaten that has been the same) I'd be careful.

visited to get some food for the family , the staff were lovely and friendly but the food wasn't great when getting home , the chicken tasted good but was over cooked, the sides were also over cooked and the gravy and coleslaw looked as though they were days old and not fresh . my wife ordered a chicken wrap and when opening looked to be dark chicken meat with very soggy, salad that agin did not look fresh at all. unfortunately this was my first visit and would not return based on what I got

Overall, it's Chicken Shop we needed not the one we deserved. On a dark, stormy winter evening, I contacted my fellow Chicken Pilgrims to plot a great journey. Together we decided to embark on a grand pilgrimage to the only, and therefore best, chicken shop in Culcheth. The journey down Common Lane was long and arduous, my hands on the verge of frostbite as I arrived. My travelling companions and I ordered Chicken Poppers, and a Family Bucket to stave off the biting wind. Service was slightly slow, but for the meager sum paid we were, ultimately, richly rewarded. We braved the perilous walk back to our domicile, where we opened the slightly soggy but authentic boxes to reveal glistening, golden brown chicken. The smell of oil instantly cured our frostbite, and just the first bite alone confirmed that it was all worth it. We didn't deserve this chicken, even having undertaken such a dangerous route there, but we definitely needed it. We drove the next time and it was much easier. Still very good.
