We're a United Reformed Church, a group of Christians with two sites, both originally Congregational in worship style, in Burnage and Withington/Didsbury, South Manchester.

Our worship is as varied as the surrounding properties, Messy Church and Junior Church alongside varied expressions of adult church and frequent celebrations of communion; Wesley and Watts being sung alongside Kaan and Kendrick, Tomlin and Townsend; council housing surrounding a garden village, cheek by jowl with luxury apartments and student flats.

Two sites, three buildings means that before and after Covid restrictions, a lot can be going on at the same time, covering the full age spectrum.

In-Person Worship Service Covid Safety A brief summary of the restrictions Christ Church will still observe for on-site services is: • No longer any restriction for Covid-19 reasons on the numbers attending worship. • People attending will still be asked to use hand sanitizer. • The wearing of face masks at worship will be optional, but people will be asked to consider the well-being of others and encouraged to wear masks when experiencing cold, flu or Covid like symptoms. • Doors and windows will be opened during worship to provide good ventilation, but with due consideration for the weather conditions at the time.
 

The experimenal warm hub scheme on the 2nd & 4th Sundays in the month has now finished due to lack of uptake. We thank the volunteers who gave up their time to host the occasions when the warm hub was open..

N.B. This website is now live but it is still a work in progress; apologies if there are things missing or not quite up to standard. Hopefully this website is dynamic and will continue to evolve and develop, time and resources permitting.
