Our team

We’re lucky to have such a dedicated, experienced and passionate team here at the Christie Fields Beefeater. Many of our team members have been with us for over 17 years, and a lot of that is down to the friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere at our restaurant. Our team make the Christie Fields what it is, from kitchen to table. Our team will always go the extra mile to make your meal the best it can be.

We care about the community here in West Didsbury. We’ve raised money for local schools, care homes and other local community groups, we’re always for looking for more ways to help out.

Our location

Our restaurant was built all the way back in 2004 on the site of our namesake, the Christie Playing Fields. We’re now part of a busy residential park full of things to do and close to some of the best spots in Manchester. We’re convenient to get to just off the M56 & M60, and we’re the best base for trips into the city.

We have a large spacious dining area, a big bar with two large TVs, BT Sports, plug sockets, booths for meetings and a relaxing pub garden. We also have private areas which can be booked for events, parties and bigger meetings for up to 100 people. We’re well known in the area for our buffets and comfy atmosphere, which is ideal for any event.

As well as that, we’ve got free Wi-Fi throughout the premises, disabled access and facilities, full baby changing facilities and vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options on our menu.

Manchester is one of the UK’s most exciting cities, and at the Christie Fields Beefeater we’re in one of the best spots to explore! We’re a great base whether you want a delicious breakfast to set yourself up for the day, a filling lunch to refuel midway through or a relaxing dinner to unwind after a fun day out.

We’re based in a busy residential park with easy tram and bus links to Manchester City Centre, that’s all the convenience of getting to the city centre without the hassle of being right in the middle of it! From the city centre, it’s only a short drive, bus or tram ride to places like Old Trafford, the Trafford Centre, Salford Quays and Manchester Metropolitan University.

Closer to us, you’ll find brilliant spots for family days out like Chorlton Water Park, the River Mersey Nature Reserve and Fletcher Moss Park. Wherever you’re heading, make sure to enjoy a delicious meal with us first!
