I would say the most satisfying job we have carried out was that of a Nan who was mortified at the state of her daughter's carpets.

They were fitted new only two years prior however with three young children and two dogs, the beige fibres stood no chance. Her carpets were black. 

The transformation was amazing. Nan was so happy she cried. We used steam extraction. Not only were the carpets now in a healthy state they were stain and odour free also.

Urine removal

This can be problematic for the homeowner.  DIY attempts in most instances fail. The smell and stain just won't go away. We follow procedures and methods which are very successful. 

Stains come in a multitude of colours.

From red wine, tea, coffee, and make-up.

The best thing to do is blot what you can and call me. Trying to remove these blemishes may remain permanent if you use the product or method. We use solutions specific to stains. Such as red wine remover, tea and coffee remover,  rust remover plus many more. Understanding the fibre is also critical to a successful extraction.

No one likes smelly furnishings. This could be animal smells on the settee, rugs, or carpets. Using specific deodorisers that digest smells, and enzymes. Use of steam extraction is also a heavily used way of ridding a smell.

Fabric Upholstery

When cleaning your settee we need to understand its construction and fibre. Not all fabric can be wet cleaned so a survey is required to ensure the safest method is used. 

Your settee will require feeding around every 12-18 months. The benefit of this is keeping the suppleness and flexibility of the hide. Not drying and causing cracks. 

Blood Extraction

Recently we attended a property in Northwich. The owner had fallen headfirst into the radiator. As you can imagine the radiator won. They had been in hospital for two days. When she came home her carer contacted us. They had not attempted to remove the blood

The blood to clean had gone hard. So to remove this we just flushed the area concerned. This broke down the bloodstain. We used cold water only so as not to seal in the blood. The carpet was an 80/20 wool mix.

Once the area had been flushed, we then applied an enzyme chemical. This was left to dwell for 15 minutes or so.

Again flushed out under very high pressure. And finally, we cleaned the area with very hot water.

The dear old lady was pleased with the outcome as was her carer.

The lesson here is if you have an accident that involves blood leave well alone. We have the experience to remove this for you safely.
