You can feel confident we will look after the person who has died with care, dignity and respect from the moment we bring them into our care until the day of the funeral. We will carefully follow your wishes and make sure any personal possessions are kept safely with them. You’re welcome to visit them, just ask your funeral director. Essential funerals Sometimes all you need is the essentials. Our essential funeral is a simple and lower-cost option suitable for those who want to keep costs down, or if the person who died wanted a simpler send off. Essential funerals Tailored funerals For those who want to choose what’s included in a funeral, from the cars to the coffin, the venue and the flowers, even the colour scheme, choose a tailored funeral. Tailored funerals Just cremation - no service For a straight forward cremation with no service and no one attending, choose a low cost direct cremation. This leaves you to choose how best to remember them in your own way. Direct cremation Direct cremation Just burial - no service For a low cost burial with no service and no one attending, choose a direct burial. This way, you can remember them in your own way in your own time. Direct burial Direct burial You can pay in full, spread the cost over 6 or 12 months with no additional costs or monthly instalments over 2–25 years. There's an additional instalment charge when paying over 2-25 years and age restrictions apply. Me and my family can not give enough thanks to Stuart for the arrangements he made, He went through every detail with us regarding the funeral and he gave us a lot of options and he really did give us confidence to make the decisions, the attention to detail was absolutely amazing. Stuart was an amazing support to the family leading up to the funeral and we felt our wishes were more than fulfilled, he was always prompt replying to emails and more than happy to speak on the telephone. On the day of the funeral Stuart and the team were great with the family looking after each of us, ensuring the funeral went smoothly. I feel the relationship Stuart built with the family was outstanding as we have never had to arrange a funeral. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a funeral director who gives you the comfort your loved one is being looked after with the added bonus of a personal touch. Stuart has been brilliant all the way through our bereavement. He is timely with responses and always at the other end of an E mail when you need a quick reply. Stuart covered all our options and was really helpful with some of our requests- carrying them out in full. Of course arranging a funeral is a difficult time and the main thing we wanted was for it to go as smoothly as possible, which is exactly what happened. All details were explained carefully and there was no pressure involved at any point. The options to customise the service and burial were enough but not too many. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again and definitely recommended McGuire's to all.

Just want to say a massive thank you to caroline and Kirsten for the amount of effort and hard work they put into my dads funeral. They was amazing, we can't thank them enough all the staff was brilliant aswel. Its so hard to describe how brilliant they was with us. I would definitely recommend this branch they have been so caring and thoughtful with us and definitely someone to talk to and have a good chat with. They went out of their way to provide the best service for my dad and they made sure everything was perfect on the day of the funeral, we are so thankful and appreciate everything.
