Welcome to Cool Running Rental, the sister company of Rentruck. We specialise in refrigerated van hire, building on decades of experience gained leasing our own fleet of temperature controlled vehicles and through Rentruck, which is one of the UK’s leading vehicle leasing companies.

Born in 2006 as part of the J.R.Ashworth and Sons Ltd group, we filled a gap in the market for reliable and professional specialist refrigerated van or other vehicle hire services. Many industries were struggling to find vehicles capable of maintaining low temperatures that were reliable and readily available. We answered the call and now boast a fleet of over 120 vehicles!

Located in Rochdale, we pride ourselves on being the local business that has grown to provide services nationwide. Our short term leases have become so popular that we now service a wide range of industries, providing refrigerated vans to the food industry and to the transport of Pharmaceutical goods. Located next to the M62 we are in a key position to provide hire services in the northwest and northeast, with excellent road connections to the south.
