I ordered a garden table, having had a bench from the company for 10 years. The first 2 tables arrived damaged, but the company replaced them quickly, the third arrived in A1 condition. Although I was disappointed with the damaged tables, Cotswold Teak’s customer service department dealt with the issues very well.

Having purchased an 8 seater round table (the extra thick variant), I found that within a year the wood started splitting and bubbling up, despite me painting it with their own teak preserver on day 1. I contacted them recently concerning this and sent them photos (the table is now 22 months' old). They have now refused to do anything or even apologised for the poor quality - well actually they did ... saying 'Apologies we cannot help further at this time'. My previous table from Westminster teak lasted 20 years - this one lasted less than 2 years! I would steer clear - a waste of £650

Despite the companies claims of customer service and customer support being absolutely key - I find it’s just a marketing line and in fact a complete lie. We have the Teak Bar which retails at approx £600. Normal wear and tear have meant the wheels that allow you to push it along have now disintegrated along with a couple of the hinges on the doors that have actually snapped which proves they are not upto the job of being used outside. I have telephoned and emailed asking for them to supply replacements which we are more than happy to pay for - after all the unit is still being sold sold they must be able to get hold of 4 wheels and some hinges right? How wrong!! Emails never replied to and telephone calls or messages never responded to. This company does not care once it’s got your money. People wonder why Britain is struggling with the economy or why levelling up in the North of England is failing well here is a clear example - if they were any good and honest folks would recommend them and be rushing to spend their hard earned salaries but they’re not going to with business that treats customers this way. Avoid and shop elsewhere there are plenty of other suppliers to give you better choice and service

Do not touch this company - my extending table does not close and every chair had loose bolts and they are poor quality. The company do not answer the phone and one person answers emails once a week but even she has stopped responding. She told me that the table would be replaced but 6 weeks on from my purchase I have had no success. I thought this company was ‘Cotswold’ but it is nothing to do with it and I think ‘Cotswold Teak’ is a scam company.

Ordered in stock item, to then be told not in stock. Our order was delivered when we were on holiday, unbeknown to us, signed for by a workman, damaged chair and missing the parasol. Delivery driver took pictures to send on to the company. They refuse all knowledge, it’s our fault. Customer service is non existent. We were going to order another 2 sets, but will take our money elsewhere.
