Welcome, and thank you for visiting my web page - the home of Diane The Cake Lady. I am a cake maker and decorator based in Astley, Manchester. I am a fully qualified baker and confectioner with over 20 years of experience, producing cakes for all occasions. I work from a purpose-built kitchen, producing all of my cakes on the premises whilst using only the best ingredients. I make a wide range of cakes at affordable prices to suit any budget. I hope you enjoy looking at some of the cakes I have made. I have been running my own business since 1989, offering a full range of cakes. I offer everything from simple birthday cakes, to several tiered wedding cakes and everything in between - all freshly baked on the premises. All cakes can be altered to suit your individual taste, theme or requirements. Alternatively, I can  design a cake for your special occasion. Please give a 7-10 day notice to allow enough time for your cake to be made. Emergency cake orders are also available upon request. Delivery can be arranged within a reasonable distance, and collection is also available for your order. Wedding cakes are normally delivered and the price for a wedding cake includes the cost of delivery.

I ordered a cake specific to my dad's favorite pastime horse racing for his 90th birthday. Diane interpreted the brief perfectly. The cake was delicious. Thank you Diane I wish you could have seen the surprise on my Dad's face when he got his cake.

Wow I ordered a Wigan warriors rugby cake design for my girlfriends 40th birthday. Couldn't be happier! it looked and tasted amazing! My girlfriend loved it and it made the occasion really special. The price was so reasonable too I would recommend Diane to anyone

Diane made my mum a beautiful gluten-free fruit cake for her 60th birthday and another, later on, in sponge. Both were excellent quality and were exactly what we'd imagined! We really couldn't recommend her enough! We also found her prices to be extremely reasonable.
