Domino's Pizza - Ashton-Under-Lyne

Domino's is mega, its not like your usual kebab shop pizza. It's on another level to that and is also totally different to Pizza Hut or Papa John's. They don't accept cash anymore which is a bit of a hindrance now and then and they've only just started doing half and half again but the Double Decadence base, which IMO made them stand out from all the rest is no longer on the menu.. I order a lot so it's worth noting they do get things wrong now and then but not always.. They may be 5* in the future but a 4 for now.

First time I used Dominos in Ashton was great. Then it all went downhill. After that, they frequently forgot to bring us our drinks and didn't refund these. The excuse was 'sorry I was in a rush to get it to you'. One time they'd arrived 20 minutes before the requested delivery time.... 😅 I loved the eagerness but we could have done with our drinks tbh and in the requested time frame as not everyone had arrived for our gathering. They even once gave us a pizza with chicken on when we'd ordered a vegan one. After I rang to let them know, as I thought it had been placed in the wrong box, they called back saying "Oh it is all soya though, it isn't real chicken" likely because it was close to their closing time. Definitely was real chicken on it (dog was going crazy for it) and pretty certain someone expecting a meat feast got our vegan pizza instead (sorry!) 😅 They did send another one over and it was a bit odd because there were two dominos employees at my door. But it took some time on the phone to say to them 'look that's not what we ordered, please send a new one'. Definitely not ordering here again which is a shame as they really are the best vegan takeaway pizza when compared to Papa John's. Staff are lovely usually but could use more customer service training and education about veggie/vegan food and allergies. Can't imagine a meat eater ordering ham and receiving chicken instead, only to be told 'it's all meat though'. 🙄

It would appear that this is one of the few dominoes that use fresh wings! Thats why like this place. Nothing worse than old chicken wings.
