The main problem for both pool and gym users it the changing rooms. The pool and gym facilities are both good. But the changing rooms are abismal. Way too cold for pool users with the air con cranked up to 11. Probably quite pleasant if you're fresh from a sweaty workout in the gym though. Also, if you are the type of person to carry a locker around with you, it will come in handy here, as almost every locker is broken in some way or another. The few that do work are like looking for a needle in a haystack. Needs some serious investment in the changing facilities.

Since starting this gym the steam room was not working for 3 weeks, there are roughly around 150 lockers of which only 3 or so actually work. The equipment is falling apart and I would say it has not been upgraded, they are still using the same equipment that DW left behind. Following on from the equipment, the machines tend to stop working which will always happen but it shouldn’t take several weeks to fix. The jacuzzi is “under maintenance” most of the time. There are tiles missing in the pool. Saying that, the pool is still the mainstay of this gym and just needs a little TLC. Finally, my overall review is that the staff are nice, understanding and professional (considering all they hear are complaints). The gym itself is adequate but needs a lot of work done. One last thing, I have seen an advert on Instagram which is very misleading and nothing of the sort.

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. If you visit at peak times you will not be able to get a locker that works and be told “it’s always like this”. The lockers are apparently “being replaced in a few weeks” and this has been the case for a while. I’d rather go and swim somewhere with facilities that are fit for purpose. Disgraceful.

This place had so much promise. The main issues are that the lockers don’t work. Feel for workers that I’ve stopped asking when they’ll be fixed. I’ve been told 2 weeks for 4 months. Not a single men’s locker works. There was a day where my belongings had been moved. What happens the day something is stolen? I’m sure I’ll be told it’s at my own risk. The steam room hasn’t been working for over a month now. It’s one of the main reasons people go to tha gym. We’ve been told about this refurbishment for months but nothing is done. This isn’t the cheapest gym. Why? Because the offer so much, but do they actually? NOTHING WORKS! The jacuzzi is off most of the time too. I just feel sorry for tha workers and for people like me who decided to join and are tied down for a year. Yikes.

Since ive joined in may 2022... 1. No lockers are working in the mens. Been told it will be replaced in 2 weeks time (been told that for the past 3 months) 2. Steam room has been broken (told its being retiled in august) still no result. 3. My log in for the app doesnt work, i have to explain this every time i come in before im let i to the gym 4. Jacuzzi has been broken, 4/5 times since joining and there is no way of controlling it, the jacuzzi bubbles 5 mns at a time then is basically having a bath with strangers. 5. The bottom of the pool has tiles missing, i dread to think how many years it will take when they want to fix that. 6. Weight back row machine has been broken for months and its just there taking up space. 7. Handles for the cable machine is either brokem, semi broken or missing. 8. Complaints arent heard! INSTEAD OF FIXING THESE THINGS, EVERLAST HAVE INSTALLED NEW FANCY WATER TAPS?!?!?! DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM - you either pay 45 quid per month or they tie you into a contract for a broken gym!!!
