We are an exciting 90 place nursery on Osborne Street in Bredbury. We opened in March 2013 and are rated Outstanding by Ofsted. We have 5 stars for our kitchen and pride ourselves on our nutritionally healthy well balanced meals. We have five play rooms and a sensory room, a fantastic safe and secure outdoor area with an outdoor classroom and lots for the children to explore including sandpits and water play, planting areas, tunnel slides and a windmill play house. In addition to the wonderful facilities we have a football play session with Gary and music sessions with Tom the music man. We value a strong partnership with parents to promote every child's development and our door is always open should you have any questions, comments or concerns. We have complementary take away tea and coffee for our parents to help them on their way in the morning.
When I drop Sophia off at nursery, she races into the toddler room as fast as her legs can take her and straight into the arms of her key person for a big hug. It's good to see that.
The staff are very welcoming and I know we are getting the best possible childcare.
We cannot praise them
enough.

Kerri Spir1 StarMy son attended this nursery I raised my concerns with them several times regarding his development and kept being told they didn’t think anything was wrong lucky I pulled him out because I had another baby so was on mat leave, fast forward a year and a half we are on the road to a diagnosis of autism and severe global delay as he is still nonverbal at 3 and a half and has no understating we would have been a lot further ahead had they not kept fobbing me off!!! And my son would have had early intervention so thanks a lot fledglings I think your SENCO need more training!!!Monday 2nd November 2020
Emma Hulme5 StarFor the past 2 and a half years my daughter who has complex allergy needs has attended fledglings nursery, the care given by the nursery has gone above and behind any expectations I ever had.
At gatherings and events separate safe food is provided for both her and her brother with both of their allergies in mind, she has her own menu and a 'safe' version of whatever her friends are eating is provided.
Fledglings provide me with updates to her menu and worked with me when we have reintroduced food groups and supported us the entire time.
The chef is one of a kind, doing her own research and trialing recipes for my daughter, I can honestly say no matter the situation she has not felt of been left out of any activity or event. The greatest care has been provided whilst dealing with her needs.
We will be sad to say goodbye to fledglings next week but won't be sending our son anywhere else but fledglings next year, as you wouldn't get any greater care or support when dealing with a child's allergies
