A day after carpet was installed, I spotted what I now know is a carpet beetle. I didn’t realise at the time and just threw it out the window. About a week in and from conversation with a friend I realised what it could be. So, I contacted Floor Choice straight away. I described what I saw, and the lady reassured me that it isn’t carpet beetle and that she got lots of them at this time of year and just hoovered them up. In retrospect this was disingenuous of her for someone who told me that she’d been running a carpet shop for 30 years and does not know what a carpet beetle looks like? Later she tried to blag that she was talking about ladybirds. I was very clear at the time that they were not ladybirds, and they look very different. Based on what she told me and putting some trust in her, we agreed that we would wait and see if I see anymore. I did and I took a picture. I also confirmed this with Rentokil Pest Control. In trying to resolve this I was beyond cooperative and ended up being taken for a ride. Each time I called either I would leave a message and get no reply, or I would be told that she would ring me back and never did. This went on for over a month and so realising that each time I’ve made contact I’d been fobbed off in some way and that I have never been contacted with an update (I was told she was contacting her supplier and making a complaint with them), I sought citizens advice and I am currently following their guidance. On the back of this I still have had no response from letters/emails I have sent or any attempt for a resolution. I have held off writing a review because I wanted to give them the opportunity to update me with why communication was so poor, if her supplier was even contacted and what they think the resolution should be? But radio silence, hence the review!

Kitchen floor finished but still waiting for the porch to be done, over a year ago. they don't want to know. Pathetic response to texts and phone calls. wish I went elsewhere. SHAMEFUL

Very helpful, very friendly staff who are all about customer service. I have used these to carpet my front room, hall, stairs and landing and am using them to lay flooring through the rest of downstairs, such is the service I have recieved from them in the past

I paid over £900 for a carpet to be laid in our bathroom albeit some years ago. I phoned after my husband had to pull the carpet up to get to some pipes for them to come and glue the fraying edges and relay the carpet again. NO response! Not very professional if you ask me.
