2-3 Week lead time was given as an estimate on a GLB, following an error at GB's end I was then upsold to a more expensive car as the more basic ones had now been sold. After more paperwork errors and delays at GB Leasing's end (ostensibly due to Mercedes Benz, fine, but our contract isn't with Mercedes) we ended up 3 months into this 2-3 week process. was only offered an alternative when it turned out the one I had ordered was going to be another month and I cancelled the order. I paid 240.00 for a "vehicle sourcing fee", which seems a bit much when nothing was sourced in anything like a reasonable timescale. Having said they would refund this 240.00, have now decided they won't due to a mechanism on their order form which allows them 60 days tolerance against their projected delivery date - presumably for unforeseen delays. This would be fair enough, if there was ever a delivery date given that had held for longer than a week. Their response to this review will no doubt look to blame me, to this end, I am Happy to provide screenshots of each delay and error for anyone who feels they would like to know more about this company before handing over money, to be passed round the houses and have their time wasted.

Great service, would highly recommend. Martin especially helped me through every step of the process for my company car and was extremely knowledgeable. When other lease companies didn't respond, this company listened to my exact requirements and sanctioned them with efficiency. Karl in administration answered all my queries promptly and I received my new car within 4 weeks from enquiry, other firms had a lead time of around 3/4 months. I could not fault the service from initial call to receiving my car.

I have dealt with GB Vehicle Leasing and various staff within for over 5 years, and find them nothing short of a pleasure to deal with. Not only are they extremely helpful, but they have proved to be efficient with every car purchase and attentive to our business needs. They do what they say they're going to do, their rates are super competitive and they genuinely make each car purchase pain-free. Highly recommended !

Overall, I'm happy with my experience with GBVL. The salesperson I was dealing with was Rob and he spent a good amount of time explaining things to me. Couple of downsides though preventing me from giving 5 stars as this is about my overall experience with GBVL of course. Rob indicated that the car would be delivered within a week versus what ended up being the case - I understand he didn't guarantee it but my expectations could have been managed better. I ended up waiting two weeks and had already settled on selling the car within a week. Secondly, Katie in Admin gave me a bit of issue when they suggested I'd have to insure the delivery driver to deliver the car to my home. I did not understand why this would be the case as it should be the delivery companies responsibility to insure their own driver, not mine. Katie called and maintained her position but in the end clarified this would not be necessary after my objections. I don't think there was any confusion (but will have to give benefit of doubt) on the part of Katie as she definitely suggested the above but glad she confirmed what I expected all along and in the end. On a really positive note though, the car arrived, albeit a little later than expected - but it was all worth it as it was better than expected. Completely brand new of course with only 5 miles on the clock - as it was delivered by truck! Really impressed and pleased so thanks for that added touch :)
