Ken Holmes2 StarI Went into the Denton branch to have the damage to my car inspected before asking my insurance company to instruct Gemini to do the repair.
How glad I am that I paid them a visit before agreeing to let them repair my car.
Both reception staff where on the phone so I ended up having a conversation with one of the estimators who stood up from his desk and I had to talk to him from about 6 metres away. He was very rude and not very helpful, at this point one of the workshop staff came into the office and joined in the conversation.
Eventually another gentleman got up from his desk and came over to talk to me and it was agreed that he would look at the damage and send me an estimate by email for some additional work that was not part of the insurance claim.
What a shock! twice the price that other approved body shops quoted.
I can only guess they only wanted to do the insurance work.
Not a very good first impression is it Gemini?
Note to all people claiming on motor insurance - it’s your prerogative who you send your car to for a repair and by visiting them you get a feeling for the kind of service they offer.
Needless to say, my car is now being repaired by a different company.
