Not surprised with other negative reviews about the postmaster. Whilst he appears pompous it would be tolerable if he was competent. Please check interactions at this post office.

I've used this post office for many years. I've found the staff always polite, helpful, and friendly. If there is any problem with this post office it's that at some times of day there can be smallish queues but then this small post office serves a large private housing estate, is surrounded and faced by a lot of small businesses, and perhaps 100 yards from a huge teaching hospital so is going to get a lot of foot-fall, hardly this post office's fault. I'm surprised by the negativity of the one star reviews, I'm happy to give this post office and the staff 5 stars

Despite their best intentions and the fact that they don't get any money off their super-inflated post service, for some reason they always overcharge me. I believe it's their hastiness to help, however, same size & weight parcels cost me usually £2.00 to £3.50 less at other Post Offices. They are nice and helpful, but their lack of thorough pricing is frustrating. I think they should re-check how to use the post costing system because it's never nice to be overcharged for parcels & letters that shouldn't be so expensive.

This post office is by far the best I have come across and this is from someone who has been ebaying for best part of last 15 years. You can drop off your parcels and the staff sort it out for you , they dont even ask for upfront payment. You can go back at your convenience to pay! Frankly speaking all the negative reviews here are no true reflection of the service provided by this little gem of a place. Lastly, I would say the staff here are the only ones who try their best to give you the cheapest option compared to other post offices where they just put the package as a parcel rather than large letter( which will cost you less) All in all a wonderful place and a great help for the community around. Thank you .⭐💫

I just had a prepaid letter to drop. He asked me to wait in the queue which I was OK with, but he was angry and winding me up. He was insisting on having a bad review on Google like from other customers. He could just tell me, that the gold Post box is outside. Very bad attitude, maybe a bad day.
