Tony Leach (brewtoe)3 StarWell they have started to cheapen up the dishes. Ordered a lamb dish and 50% was potatoes. Go back 12months and the dish was all lamb. Now I understand why but at least come clean and state the dish now contains none meat etc.
Bit disappointed about this as the food is usually excellent.

My review hit home..owner and chef decided to do the right thing and ask how he could improve.
My review is not the only negative review so here goes.
I told him dishes that are mainly veg based state so, if you want it bias to meat have that option. Veg is a lot cheaper than meat and a premium dish should be premium ingredients. Meat Costa more than veg, Lamb is more expensive than potato..... Pretty simple.
He has gone out his way delivered to me now personally 3 times, which tells me he is bothered , he wants to make this right.
We love the food from them,on occasion the oil needs changing and they need to come clean on what goes in a curry you order but and it's a big but the food is 99% of the time superb.
So give them a chance, if they mess up tell them so, I guarantee next time they won't ;-) and you will love it. He does care, he has shown me that...but as anyone does he has bad days.Saturday 3rd June 2023

Got back and the food was amazing. A few extra bits thrown in as well. A great start to Saturday evening.
