The Hawthorne is located near to The Pennines and opposite The Lows nature reserve, in the once bustling town of
Oldham in Greater Manchester.
We are close to many local attractions and beauty spots. If you are of the cycling kind, there are miles and miles
of cycle tracks within 500 yards of the campsite, a few miles drive will take you to a popular destination for
walkers and rock climbing fanatics that is known as Potts & Pans, Greenfield. If you are into your cotton mill history
we ar also a few miles from the historic Saddleworth, Saddleworth have a lovely museum with the history of our
local cotton mill industry, Saddleworth also host the world famous YANKS weekend, A movie made famous by Richard Gere
and Vanessa Redgrave that was filmed in the village nearby. find more info here Straight opposite The Hawthorne
is the historic Lows nature reserve and rock quarry, a nature lovers dream. In view of The Hawthorne is
the historic Heartshed Pike, just 15 minutes away, and also in Oldham town is the local history museum. If you are

We have many soft and hard standing pitches with PAYG electricity, if required, the all new Hawthorne as newly
