Turned up on the off-chance of getting a game of American pool. I already knew they had a private party in that had booked all the tables. As it happens, one of them was made available for me. Me being a non - member. I was welcomed with a smile, and the staff were polite. They even did a reasonable cup of tea (ok, it needed a little doctoring, but only a little). The price is comparable to other places where I've been, including one in Manchester I visited earlier in the day, only to find the table I was allocated there was almost unplayable. Although the cloth on the table was a little old, it was still a good pace, and ran straight. Cushions were responsive and consistent. The balls were breaking really well. There is a wide shelf along the wall of the pool room where you can store your stuff (cue cases, jackets, drinks etc), and plenty of room around the tables... and they take plastic! In short, a warm welcome, reasonable price, decent table and a really nice experience. What's not to like?

Really impressed, friendly & helpful staff, has a family run / safe vibe. Tables are decent, A good selection of beers, food was tasty too. I am happy to highly recommend & have already joined! Even we're playing Led Zeppelin & Deep Purple in the Pool 🎱 area awesome...

Great place and reasonably priced. The only thing that could be improved is the snooker hall can get quite cold at times. But other than that I highly recommend it.
