Food is amazing. First time trying Helens this evening and we were not disappointed. We had the salt n pepper munch box and a couple of sauces. Really tasty, not too much salt and fresh onions. Very quick delivery. Would highly recommend.

Fish and chips was amazing! The fish was fresh, crispy and juicy (see the juice oozing out in the photo). The chicken wings with satay sauce was phenomenal. It tasted like those I had in Thailand and I am surprised to have found such good satay in this country. The empty plate was the best evidence of how delicious it was. My little one also loved the chicken nuggets. Will definitely order again!

Not entirely clear why it has been hyped so much. For example, the only difference that I could note of the 'Irish Curry' is that it was a slightly darker colour than 'Chinese' and 'English' curry is that it is slightly a darker colour and has a slightly vinegary taste.. Chips seemed greasy despite them being a fresh batch. Maybe blanching them in the morning, refrigerating them until required and then twice frying them would be better. The pies are disappointingly 'Hollands' pies so don't look up to the image this place seemingly wishes to aspire to and could easily be rectified by a supply from a local bakery. You're in Bury. You're in Lancashire. Where's my black peas with salt, pepper and _lots_ of vinegar? Where are my Bury Black Pudding (Chadwick's of Bury Market fame) fritters with lots of Colemans English Mustard? And oh, for the love of God and the planet. Please get rid of the polystyrene boxes - leave them to the rubbish, 1 or 2 star hygiene kebab shops.
