Rob IM1 StarAwful service, they made me wait 25 minutes in the rain, to tell me they haven't got a car for me. Car was paid for and showed up as reserved, still they said they don't have a car for me. Still waiting for a refund 2 weeks later. Avoid Hertz Bolton, use Enterprise, they will treat you better.Tuesday 18th October 2022

Stuart Duncan5 StarRented this car in Edinburgh 2 weeks ago, all went very smoothly and the car was great, we drove about 1200 miles in Scotland and northern England.
Today we returned it to the Hertz office in Bolton and Chris was great. Returning the car went very smoothly and he assisted us with getting to the station to catch our train to Manchester. Top Marks!Monday 14th October 2019
Mc Schotte1 StarHard to find, off the main road with no sign at the road side. Had to ask another car rental a bit down the road to get directions. Paper work states office is open until 6pm but closed on a Friday by 5.30 so we faced a closed office at 5.55pm and proper returned was not possible, as there is also no drop off key box on site. I had to chip in for my brother who flew back to his home country by 7am. Returning and trying to return the key the following morning opening times stated in office window on Saturday 8.30, but noone on site until 9. Gutted, wasted time. Had to keep my own shop closed for longer as I was not back til after 9. Hertz Bolton, get your information right!!!!Saturday 29th February 2020
