Absolute 5 star service from HIDS direct. I ordered a HID kit for my van, when installed It turned out the ballast didn’t work with the CANBUS system on my van. After a couple of emails with Sam, suitable ballasts were sent out straight away, Old ballasts swapped for the replacement ones and old ones returned to HID direct. They sent out the new ones before I returned The old ones so I wasn’t left with extra work in taking the lights out more than needed and belong left without lights for a number of days. Highly recommended.

I purchased a pair of LED side repeaters for my BMW. They arrived quickly and other than being a little tricky to fit, seemed to work well. So far so good. However, after a few months one is letting water in and is corroding from the inside. I’ve emailed them, used their online contact form, but so far all communication with them has been ignored. Very disappointing. I see from the other reviews that I’m not the only one to be totally ignored when their products fail.

Ordered two pairs of LED bulbs to upgrade my car's existing lighting after some shopping around HIDS direct looked like great value and had a good reputation. Ordered on a Saturday and arrived midweek. Very pleased with the items and the quick turn around. Car looks great with the items fitted and also safer! I'll certainly be coming back to purchase some more bulbs from them in the future. Some things to feedback would involve the order tracking. This seems to just link to a generic website that searches multiple tracking numbers. As mine was coming by royal mail I wouldn't get any update until they attempted delivery. I didn't know this however until the day they arrived as It wasn't communicated who the carrier was. So I would make sure customers are specifically told who is carrying there items rather than just providing a link to a generic tracking website. Secondly i was a bit concerned that the items might have been knocked about in transit as they were just send in a jiffy bag. While this did mean they could be posted through my letterbox without me needing to be in i think the reassurance of a smaller box for the items might have been better than an over-size jiffy bag. Would certainly recommend these guys if you are looking for updating bulbs in your car, especially if you are after canbus compatible ones. Thanks guys!
