A warm welcome to Holy Family Catholic Primary School’s website.

We are a small Catholic Primary School situated in Boothstown, Wigan which is close to the Salford border. Our mission statement: ‘Live together, work together and pray together’, really celebrates the journey our children take each and every day from the moment they join our school family. We are a family who celebrates, encourages and finds joy in our children’s achievements as they strive to be the person God has chosen them to be.

At Holy Family, we firmly place Christ at the heart of everything we do. We have high aspirations and expectations of all our children and believe that it is our duty to nurture each child’s unique gifts and talents. We aim to create excitement, joy and ambition in all our pupils through an exciting curriculum that allows all children to shine. They will leave us in Year 6 secure in the knowledge that they truly can achieve everything and anything.

Home, school and parish form a valuable partnership which enables our children to grow in the light and strength of the Gospel Values. Our school enables children to root their own behaviour and choices in the values of respect, truth, forgiveness and justice for all. We are proud of the part we play in both our parish and local community and are committed to working in partnership for the good of our children’s future.
