Babbling Babies

For babies aged 4–12 months, join this six-week communication and fun play programme for you and your baby. Contact the children’s centre to book a place.

Baby clinic

Have your baby weighed and discuss your baby’s progress with the health visiting team.

Little Talkers

A five-week programme looking at strategies to support your child’s speech and language development. Referral only (self-referrals accepted).

Sparkles - Stay and Play

Fun activities supporting learning and development through play for children aged 0–5years.

Citizen Advice Bureau

Every fortnight drop in session – providing free, independent, confidential and impartial advice.

Supporting families with children from pregnancy until they are five years old.

Medlock Vale Children’s Centre is in the Honeywell Centre on Hadfield Street in Hathershaw.

From Ashton Road, turn onto Hadfield Street.

If you reach the Park Cake factory, you have gone too far.

Buses (409 and 425) run every 10 minutes from Oldham town centre and stop close to the centre.
