adam ricketts5 StarExcellent experience. I drove up to Bury from Birmingham as one of my local branches wasn't very helpful in sourcing some kitchen doors that were discontinued. Bury branch found the two doors I needed aswell as the rest of the kitchen doors.
Thanks to Marcus and Natalie, my experience was fast, friendly and most of all extremely efficient. They really stopped at nothing to get me what I needed!Thursday 24th March 2022

adam Robbo1 StarKitchen designers are useless , you just end up designing it yourself. Once the kitchen arrives and you start fitting and make sure you've got a pen and paper to write down how many bits are missing. Be prepared for them to try and charge you for the bits you've already paid for back at the shop.Tuesday 19th February 2019

Kitchen - few issues with parts missing, larder unit end panel damaged and ill fitting top cupboard.
Plans given to our kitchen fitter were different to what we ordered and agreed on our online plans. Kitchen sink was the opposite way around.
Quite a bit of hidden wasted space under worktops.
Replacement delivery of missing/damaged parts were not available for over 3 days and none of the items were delivered on time. First delivery was over 4 hours late. These late deliveries cost our kitchen fitter a lot of wasted time and wages.
After various phone calls with Bury Howden's, Store Manager Patrice became involved and issues were finally resolved.
Kitchen units were of a a decent quality and we have no issues here.
Our kitchen fitter Ross has made an excellent job by making custom made cupboards to utilise the wasted space and by fitting 2 separate wall mounted units instead of the ill fitting corner unit.
Ross also had to put in correct sink and new worktop as per our plans.
On reflection, we are pleased with the final result.
It has been stressful.
Not a brilliant company when issues are pointed out but if you complain firmly and refuse to accept second best, then these issues are resolved eventually.
Have an excellent kitchen fitter on board as you will certainly need him and his expertise.
Would we use Howden's again?
Yes we would but keep a closer eye on the design process and final plans as this can differ from the original layout.Thursday 28th November 2019
