Recently had my timing chain done on a 1 series. Lisa, Mark and Sam who worked on my car were all really friendly and transparent. Good price and really efficient. The car is now running great and not had any problems at all, I’ll definitely be back! Had An Engine Light Stay on On My Old Renault Clio Dci Called in On The Off Chance to explain The Problem Mark said Run The car In + Plugged in The Diagnostic Machine EGR Problem Came up- He Took The valve Out+ Cleaned it Up said to try To See If Sorted, Problem Now Gone- mark said if it re Occurs Will Need New EGR Valve. Amazing Responce for an OAP Amazing Service + Knowledge Thanks to all Barry Gollings 77 Independent have serviced and done a variety of - sometimes small & fiddly! - jobs on all of my cars over the last fifteen+ years.They're always professional, courteous and practical and easy to deal with, with labour rates that are way better than the main dealers I'd previously used, so I've been very happy to get better service than main dealers at much lower prices. Highly recommended. By far the best garage I've ever used - trustworthy, reasonably priced, expertly carried out work and great customer service. They even applied lubricant to my bonnet latch and all locks, without mentioning it, just because they were sticking a little - a small touch that shows they care. Thank you. The team at Independent have looked after my cars for 20 years and I can’t fault them. I can rely on them to advise professionally and trust them implicitly to only do work that’s required and for the best. Didn’t even charge for my tyre and brake check. Thanks for doing a great job of looking after my ageing Yaris! Put our bmw in for a service & hand break to find out when it went to a proper bmw garage it had not been done . The oil was at 90% not 100% the hand break had not been done and iver £200 had bern paid by the garage we bought it off . We will not be returning Excellent garage, I've been using for 13 + years because I hate having to get things done twice unnecessarily, even if it appears cheaper in the first instance.This loyalty to 'Independent' should tell you everything you need to know.They will do a fantastic job at a more than reasonable price. I've been a customer for Independent Vehicles for almost 10 years, and I cannot recommend them enough! They specialise in BMW, Volvo and Mini servicing and repairs, but they won't turn you away if you don't own one of those brands of cars.Mark and his team are brilliant, always helpful, going above and beyond helping you with any of your cars problems or servicing.Their labour prices are reasonable, and they're very thorough in terms of finding out what the problem was with your car. They always provide you with a fully transparent explanation of the cause of the fault and with options.I can't recommend any other garages as much as I can recommend Independent Vehicles. This place was recommended to me by a friend whose brother still uses it despite moving away from the area. I took my car there for some major ish work and it was no issue and reasonably priced. The work was to a high standard and completed in a timely manner. The guys there are great and despite working so hard still manage a smile and are polite and have a sense of humour. I was so impressed that I took my partners car there and again couldn't fault them, i knew of some work I needed doing and they were spot on and called prior to the work being carried out and it was done at reasonable prices. Highly recommend. Great independent BMW service centre. Very friendly and reasonable cost. Solved a problem with the Stop/Start on a 1 Series that had been going on for a couple of years and called to discuss pricing of additional work before going ahead with it.Open between 8am and 6pm so very convenient.Very impressed with these guys and would certainly recommend them to anyone who wants their BMW servicing, but doesn't want to pay BMW's prices. They also do Volvo servicing.Will be using them from now on. I Always use this garage to service and repair my Mercedes c200. Honest well trained mechanics. You may need to book a week to 10 days in advance but well worth waiting.
