Welcome to John Glover Optometrist A Centre for Neuro-Developmental and Behavioural Optometry

We hope the website gives you all the information you need on the range of services we provide. We are qualified Optometrists, registered with the General Optical Council and the National Health Service. We provide a full range of Optometric Services including sight tests, contact lenses and vision therapy.

However, our specialism is in Neuro-Developmental and Behavioural Optometry. We work with young people with educational difficulties such as dyslexia and dyspraxia. We also help people who have difficulties due to brain or eye injury or problems with double vision or lazy eyes.

Some of these services are on the NHS but unfortunately most of our specialist services are only available privately. We know that many of you have significant problems with your sight, for many from an early age, for others in adulthood. We have extensive experience of successfully working with a wide range of difficulties. Many of our success stories are from individuals, parents and carers who never thought that they could find solutions to their problems. We might not always have the answers straight away but we definitely listen and support you if we think we might help in any way.
