Don't be put off by the exterior.....popped in looking for vinyl flooring, found the perfect one 👍,arranged for fitter to measure up, and within a couple of hours they arrived very professional service and very happy with my wooden effect vinyl, would certainly recommend 👍👍

I'm writing a very belated review (9 years late). I went to Josie's after the purchase of my first house and it needed carpeting. I had a look at other stores but the quality and pricing was substantially higher. I was taken to Josie's by my friend and they had a wide selection of carpets, and the quality of the carpets remains the best I've ever come across to this day. I was able to get the staircase, landing and three double bedrooms carpeted for a really competitive price. The fitters were really good and fast, they managed to do all of the fitting under 2 hours from recollection. I've sold that house off and moved down south, otherwise I would still be using Josies as I wouldn't look anywhere else. They are probably the best carpet stores in the North West and are a hidden gem compared to the known carpet stores. It's good to see that they're still around. All the best guys :)

Doubt I will come back to have carpets if I need them again. Had a carpet fitter up this morning to measure up, thought he was ok until he opened his mouth (that stunk of alcohol must i say) He measured the bedroom baring in mind we still had furniture in that needed to be moved out but he came with the worst attitude explaining that he ‘will not be doing the job unless the furniture is moved’ who was to say we wasn’t going to move it in the first place? My partner asked questions as to how long the job will take he then came with ‘why does it matter how long it takes’ - Erm because some of us run with time, I have a 6 month old to look after & my partner has work today as the furniture obviously needs to be moved back, not that we should explain ourselves. Then as he was walking out the door he says ‘get to work’ may sound funny but how disrespectful can one person be in his customers house?! Fuming was not the word & the guy needs to be taught some manners!!! Almost felt like he belittled us in our own home. I’ve been in touch with the lady & complained and luckily she has found us some new fitters otherwise he would of been told personally! Soo un professional & rude! No matter how bad of a nights sleep you’ve had or how bad your days going so far do not approach your customers with an attitude like that!
