Called at quarter past to find out where the owner was and was told he was sorry and he'd be 5 minutes.

At first he seems so interested and seems like the perfect dealer. I gave my deposit and was told delivery was on a Thursday. He's communication is poor and leaves me on read regarding when he will be coming and the time. On the day, he says its going to be Sunday. Sunday comes and the same thing happens and I had to call him using no caller ID for him to pick up. He CLAIMS the car broke down on the motorway.
He tells me he will give back the deposit. This bit was where he wasted so much of my time. For the next week, I gave him numerous messages and calls and keeps delaying paying the deposit. He told me he would pay me on Sunday. After couple days, he says he paid. I tell him to send me a conformation which he says he will do but proceeds not to.
I would 100% not recommend this dealer even if you receive a good price. The worst thing is today I look at the car I was going to buy and see a new V5C was issued and a new tax was completed meaning he sold it to someone else for a higher price and made the excuse that it broke down.
This dealer is 100% not worth the hassle. Extremely unprofessional.Thursday 6th August 2020
