The mid-2023 rental market in South Manchester is crazy, and very much stacked against renters due to lack of properties and the state of the economy. This has meant that finding a place to rent has been even more of an ordeal than it normally is. My family eventually managed to rent a property via Julian Wadden, and I was pleasantly surprised (due to experiences with other agents, who quite frankly act like renters are beneath them) with how well I was looked after. Amina and Abigail handled the entire process very smoothly, from viewing, to putting in an offer, referencing, and also during the moving in process. I couldn't ask for better service.

Excellent service from the Didsbury office. The initial valuation process on our property was really well done, there was thoroughly researched info presented to us to support the advice given. The sales strategy and process was well explained and executed perfectly. The viewings were excellently handled, as were the sales negotiations. Julian Wadden have been extremely helpful in every step of the way moving into my first ever rental property. Staff have been the friendliest out of all estate agents I've tried so far, and responses to e-mails have been extremely prompt (usually only a few hours!). In particular, I'd like to give a thank you to Amina and Mark, who guided me professionally throughout the whole process. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience for renting my first apartment!

Bad experience selling my flat and I ended up moving to PJK who sold my flat within a week. The initial pitch to use JW was very strong, but I felt that the communication was very poor from the back office staff that dealt with my flat sale. I also have video footage of the man doing the showing around. He had no information about the property and managed the day of block viewings very poorly, which in my opinion is why I struggled to sell with JW. They are also more expensive than the other agent. I would not recommend.

Please be warned, the assistant branch manager here, Nicola Viner, is unprofessional, aggressive, and rude. The treatment we received from Julian Wadden perfectly illustrates how little regard estate agents in South Manchester have for buyers. As buyers in world of a stagnating economy, high inflation, and rising interest rates, we cannot wait for day...coming soon now...where prices collapse and all these awful estate agents, if they still have a job, coming crawling back and start treating buyers with the smallest modicum of respect. But don't worry, will remember how you treated us in 2023, and we will tell our friends.
