Blocked Drains and Repairs

Blocked drains in Manchester

If you’re based in Manchester and the Greater Manchester region, and have a drainage emergency, the team at our Manchester depot is here to help. Get in contact with our expert team for a fast, cost-effective and efficient solution to your drainage issue. We’re here to take your call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our Manchester depot serves these areas:

The depot itself is easily visible too — right beside the M602 in Salford. It’s the perfect spot to link us quickly with the whole North West motorway network so that we can deal with your blocked drains or drain repair emergencies.

Our main hub

This is a main Lanes’ hub for the Group’s drainage expertise and advanced drainage technology as well as providing a 24-hour emergency service for tackling your blocked drains in the North West region. It’s also the service centre for our fleet, so you’ll see more of our eye-catching pink drainage vehicles around here than almost anywhere else!

It’s a busy, buzzing place; more so since we created two further buildings and extensive plant holding areas alongside the original site. Building 3 is now home to our award-winning and hugely successful sewer renovation division, which also has an integral production facility. From here, all our sewer relining projects across the UK are co-ordinated and managed.

Lanes in the local community

Lanes for Drains prides itself on its participation in local communities across the length of the country. And our Manchester team are certainly active in the local community.

In August 2017, a team from our Manchester depot took a trip to the Lake District, all in the name of Macmillan Cancer research. The team did Lanes proud by raising a whopping £13,151 for the cancer charity. Read all about our team’s exploits in this blog post.

Pathetic!! Insurance company assigned the job, at 11am I was told engineer will come this evening. At 6:30pm I was told van broken down, the engineer will come 1st thing next morning. No call to follow up, so I called only to be told that we can't give you a time for today!! How you are in business it is amazing??

I have to applaud Craig Drane for his tenacity and expertise at resolving our issue with a blocked toilet. It was a very challenging job for him but he never gave in.

The lady who received my call was polite and reassuring. The technician that came was excellent. It is a pity I did not ask their names. On my experience today I would definitely recommend Lanes for Drains. Thank you.

Work carried out by Lanes Drains following survey and move to new home. Several issues of concern: Final invoice did not tally up with work carried out (£400 more than it should have been). Was not advised when the quote for work was initially given, that United Utilities were responsible for some of the drains and as such I could have used Lanes to do this work and be charged when UU would be responsible and as such nearly paid Lanes to do the work. Never received a quote for supposed extra work and then when UU checked, they advised me that they could see no defects. Ended up having to claim back via my credit card company which Lanes did not contest. Lanes never came back with any explanation or apology until I raised this issue via Lanes "contact a Director email". Apology has now been received but they were unable to explain why some of the issues had arisen. Have lost total trust in them and will not use again.
