We believe that relationships are central to the work of school and work hard to ensure that children and parents feel supported, safe and happy. Our core values run through everything we do. We strive to enable pupils to take responsibility and be respectful. We plan our curriculum to foster creativity and a culture in which challenge is welcomed. First and foremost, we ensure that we live and model these values as a school staff and community. Our three golden rules are simple and apply to all members of the school community, adults and children:

Look after yourself, look after each other, look after our school.

Lark Hill is a smaller than average community primary school with great open green spaces for the children to enjoy and explore. We have a daily breakfast club to support working parents, open from 8am for only £1 a day as well as a range of after-school activities from sports to academic boosters. 'Brew club' is open from 8.30am daily to welcome parents into the school and in this, as in all areas, we endeavour to be as inclusive a school community as possible.
