I stayed here just one night. I loved it. I was immediately made to feel welcome by other residents and even given a lift into town by a lovely resident who refused to take any money. It was an absolute delight to be there and I felt humbled by the generosity and kindness. The site is quiet and clean. No mud and a completely flat field. Toilets were clean and security gave a feel of total safety. This campsite for me was a great experience and I’d go back in a heartbeat

A got a wonderful welcome from the friendly owners when I stayed at Laylands on my charity walk from Lands End to John O’Groats. They couldn’t have been more helpful or supportive. The site is in a great location (and just a short walk to shops, pubs and other amenities in Culcheth too).
