Leycester House is situated in the sought-after location of the village of Mobberley, only a few minutes’ walk from the local shops and approximately two miles from Knutsford town centre. It offers a warm, caring environment and delivers person-centred care based on residents’ individual needs. The team working at the home are highly committed to caring for older people, and respect the individual choices and decisions that residents make. There are 40 single bedrooms. All rooms have television points. There are a number of pleasant lounge areas throughout the home. At least one lounge is fitted with a hearing loop, a discreet device to improve sound reception and aid those with hearing difficulties. Residents can choose to eat in one of a number of dining rooms or in their own room if they prefer. Leycester House is set within spacious grounds and there are pleasant gardens and a new raised patio for residents’ use. All areas are wheelchair accessible. Clients who smoke have access to an internal Courtyard.

Additional services available to residents include a hairdresser who visits once a week on a Wednesday and newspaper and magazine deliveries which are arranged through a local newsagent. These services are charged on a weekly basis as used. There is also a shop trolley service for items such as greetings cards, toiletries, drinks and confectionery.
