Lillian provided an excellent service, with professionalism and dignity provided for my daughter throughout. Philip Eyres1 StarOn Sunday 23rd of April we had booked a service at st Mary’s church Newton at 11am to place my aunts ashes in her plot we were kept waiting 15 mins in the church only to be told this company had “forgotten” to bring the ashes to the service one couple had a 180 mile round trip I also blame the vicar of st Mary’s for this farcical situation totally inept the pair of them you should be ashamed LILLIAN HOUGH AND ST MARYS CHURCH.. this now has to be rearrangedMonday 24th April 2023
Roy Gee5 StarFather passed away recently and off the back of a friend's funeral that was carried out by Lillian and her staff decided to give them a go.
It transpired to be a excellent choice, she struck the right balance between being professional but friendly with some good advice regarding coffins, flowers and a celebrant for the ceremony.
Everything went smoothly and had comments from family and friends in regard to the professionalism of lillian and her staff.
I know it's not like buying a car but if you need a recommendation for a undertaker then you won't go far wrong with Lillian and her staff.Thursday 4th March 2021
