I love this place, advertised as vegetarian cuisine but most dishes are actually vegan. Make sure you book as it’s always busy, lunchtime and evening meals. Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. I have two negatives, the menu is overwhelming, so much choice but if you are unsure about any dish, the staff can guide you. My second negative is the limited time for use of the table, up to two hours. They are so busy with customers that it has to be managed somehow but sometimes I would love to just sit and soak up the atmosphere. There’s a handy shop attached where you can buy take away to warm up at home. On Thursdays only they have a handy platter of the popular dishes (it changes weekly) I found it great value and helped with the overwhelming menu choice I mentioned earlier. Vegan, vegetarian or carnivore, go there you will love it and there’s also a well stocked bar. Enjoy, I may see you there soon.

24 hours later and I'm still raving about the place. The food was amazing. Great value for money. A lovely ambiance but what nailed it for me was Declan the lovely young male server who had taken time to read my booking notes so guided me through suitable meal options. Perfect A++

I loved the food there. Very good quality, freshly made satisfying. I loved the ambience. The staff were very cooperative too. I loved naan, very fresh made you can tell through fragrance and taste. I am tempted to give 5 stars just giving 4 as I want to convey portion size I felt small. But I still would love to visit seeing quality and taste.

The best curry I have ever had! I ordered the mixed vegetable curry as I couldn't decide so picked anything in the end then thought I'd have food envy when my partners food arrived, how wrong was I. So full of flavour, and different herbs and spices with every mouthful. The staff were so friendly too. Would 100% recommend.

I've given Lily's 5 stars for one simple reason, everything from the decor and the staff to the food is exceptional. The quality of the food is fantastic, and the range of choices is vast. The food prices are also very reasonable, and the portions substantial. You really do get your money's worth. At least on the food. Unfortunately, the drinks are a different matter. £2.50 for a small glass of warm Coke is daylight robbery, as is £2 for a small glass of lime and soda. A couple of soft drinks each contributed almost 20% of the total bill, which is really disappointing. And before anybody says "But they all charge that", the fact is they are all wrong to do so. Lily's get everything right, bar this one thing. I do hope they reconsider their soft drinks prices.
