Rented a small unit for 12 months while doing work on the house. Location was very convenient and easy to get to. Unit was clean and dry. The site felt very secure and was well kept. Andy and co were a pleasure to deal with throughout. Would definitely use them again if required.

We had a great experience of using one of the large (20ft) units here for 18 months (March 21 - September 22). The items we stored included delicate items such as furniture and boxes of books, and they were all absolutely fine at the end of the period of storage. Car access is really easy, and the pricing is really clear with no hidden charges. All in all a great experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to return should we ever need storage in future.

During some home renovations, we needed a small storage unit to hold some of our household and garage items. Andy and Paul at M60 Self Storage provided us with a clean, dry and secure unit which suited our needs. The set-up process was thorough, and the access to the site was flexible and clearly explained. The rates are very fair, and also prorated to the final date of use. An excellent service and would definitely recommend.

We rented a medium sized unit whilst going through a house extension and our plan was to always use small local businesses. We're very glad we did when it came to M60, as the service was top notch and they were extremely flexible with us when it came to returning the unit because as with most plans, our changed a few times. Unlike some of the national providers, M60 did not offer seductive rates for the first few weeks which makes them seem more expensive. But after the national companies bump their prices up after those special offers, I honestly believe we saved money by going with M60 and best of all we kept the money in the local economy.

I rented a storage unit off M60 Storage for approximately 5 years. They have two sites, their main one where they’re also headquartered just off Dane Road in Sale, and a smaller site on Harley Road, also in Sale. I rented an eight foot unit at their Harley Road location. Both sites are protected by high security fencing and are accessed via electronic gates with a supplied electronic fob. The obvious security arrangements are the first thing you’ll notice when you visit these sites and they are very very impressive, and more importantly, very reassuring. Both sites have high definition security cameras positioned everywhere so as to cover every angle and every inch of both sites. It really is very impressive. This focus on the security arrangements are the first thing you’ll notice and they’ll fill you with confidence that your storage needs will have the protection you need. There is more than adequate floodlighting on during the darker months so you’ll never be fumbling around in the dark. The units are basically shipping containers that come in various sizes with corresponding price points. The interior floor of the containers is a laminate wood type surface and the interior environment is very clean and bright. The doors to the containers are high security with a tamper proof locking mechanism secured with a very elaborate tamper proof high security padlock operated with a laser cut key. It’s not a normal hook and loop mechanism with a padlock that most people are familiar with that secures these doors. It’s way more elaborate than that. I’ve never seen anything like this before. It gives you peace of mind. Around the perimeter of the doors of the container is a very thick rubber seal to prevent the ingress of moisture into the container and during my five years of renting my storage unit I never once found any evidence of dampness inside the containers or on any of my stuff that was stored inside. These units are suitable for all sorts of domestic and business storage needs including business equipment, machinery, tools, furniture, household possessions, electronic equipment, books, documentation, and even shoes & clothes if need be. Andy & Paul, the owners of the business, are a pleasure to deal with and explain everything to you in a simple no nonsense way and along with their attention to detail and focus on security will provide you with all the peace of mind you’ll need. The location of both sites is literally minutes away from the south Manchester motorway network and even if you were on foot, they’re both 5-10 minutes away from either the Dane Road or Sale Metrolink stations. Everything about this business, and the people who run it, is very professional and very impressive. Highly recommended.
