Our learner driver manual driving lesson prices are transparent on each individual
area page, as opposed to some driving schools who withhold the prices until
you call their driving school or they will ask you for all of your details before
you can access the driving lesson prices for your postcode area.

Oliver Clark5 StarI took both normal and pass plus Automatic lessons with Lee Ellis. He was an excellent instructor.
My last attempt at driving was 12 years ago (a 4 week intensive course) and ended with me nearly changing lanes into another car on a driving test. This time I decided to do it properly. I opted for automatic lessons and never looked back. I had a great time with Lee. His lessons are logically structured, follow on from each other, and he provides a safe and enjoyable environment to learn.

Colleen Sullivan5 StarI would wholeheartedly recommend John as a driving instructor! I am from the US and am an experienced driver there, but had never driven manual and didn't know UK rules of the road. I signed up for lessons with Manchester Driving Training. John was the perfect instructor - he was incredibly patient in coaching me on the gears, and tailored every lesson to fit my needs, which were different than a new learner. Not only did I have to learn the gears, but also 'unlearn' the bad driving habits I had picked up over the years. John worked through every issue step-by-step, with patience, humour, and an impeccable knowledge of the Highway Code. He was very communicative and flexible, and very chatty and easygoing during lessons. Prior to the test, we did several practice tests, which flagged a few issues that I was able to work through. Happily I passed with only two minors, and would gladly recommend John to anyone seeking lessons.Wednesday 26th January 2022
Caroline Gee5 StarI would highly recommend automatic driving instructor lee Ellis as I passed my test first time with him. He is a fantastic instructor, very reliable, professional and friendly. He was recommended to me by my daughter who also passed with him first time. He helped build my confidence throughout my lessons, encouraging me every step of the way. Kayleigh Errington5 StarI had automatic lessons with Lee Ellis and passed first time. I was nervous to start my lessons but Lee made me feel at ease in the car. You can tell he is a very knowledgeable and experienced driver and he was able to explain things to me in a way I understood. He was always punctual for our lessons and accomodating any time I had to rearrange them. The lessons were well structured and allowed me to build my confidence over time. If there was anything I struggled with then Lee made sure we practiced it enough until I got it. I really appreciate how patient and thorough he was. Thank you Lee!Sunday 26th June 2022

He was great at sorting out lessons around my difficult and unpredictable work hours (even finishing some lessons at midnight). After 3 months of lessons, I passed first time with no minors, which says so much about Lee’s teaching. He’s relaxed and puts you at ease the whole time. I would 100% recommend.Monday 4th July 2022
