Item(s) tagged a couple quid cheaper than it scanned at the till and been same way in this store for a while and staff are pretty clueless when quizzed... Are some of your items priced/tagged not showing vat? Example 12.50 tagged jeans scanned at 14.00 (whole shelf of them was tagged 12.50) beware if your doing a big clothes shop it could be costlier than expected .... 3 stars as even with the extra cost incurred its still fairly cheap just double check prices before leaving.

If I'm being honest, Matalan (Rochdale) is usually one of the places I avoid shopping at, as in the past their customer service has been shockingly poor, and I've found most staff to be very rude and dismissive, but on this occasion I was pleasantly surprised. I was guided by the gentleman at the security desk, as everything's changed since my last visit (probably about 2 years ago!) and then I was served at the checkout by Adam, another very courteous member of staff. All in all, very pleasant!

I had to drop off a parcel for DPD collection and a lovely lady who seen me holding this parcel made me jump the queue so she could serve me but then she was stopped by one of her Asian colleague saying they don't have the space and that dpd won't accept it because of the amount of parcel they had (Which im sure DPD would still collect them anyway) so she said to her that they had space underneath (i believe a shelf) but she still insisted to refuse it. So i've asked the asian woman where is the next drop off point and rudely she replied back saying "Look online where the next drop off point is" the customer who she was serving looked at her like there was no need to be rude.... saying that i won't be dealing with Matalan for DPD Drop Off anymore.. Doing the same Complaint to DPD...Merry Christmas

I am sick of them not putting seating around the changing area while I wait for my girlfriend! Don't try to force me to shop. I hate it! I'm not buying anything! I need to sit down!
